Otorhinolaryngology commonly named as ENT is an important & broad speciality subject in Medical education for undergraduate & postgraduate students. This subject is taught to undergraduate students from IIIrd to VIIth semester. The department handles all the patients having disease related to Ear, Nose and Throat. All major & minor Otorhinolaryngology & head & neck surgeries are done routinely. Endoscopic sinus surgery with skull base surgery, micro ear surgery, micro laryngeal surgeries for voice disorders, advance surgeries for head & neck tumours, cosmetic surgeris of nose & face are also done. Department takes keen interest in medical education & research. Teaching facilities includes modern teaching aids (audiovisual) complemented by experienced faculty in form of theory lectures, demostrations & clinical practices.

Research
Department has organised 23rd Annual Conference of All India Society on 10th to 12th September 2010 as RHINOCON - 2010. Eminent national & international faculties has attended this conference. State of art lectures symposia, panel discussions was key of its success. Live telecast of surgeries were also done for PG students and beginers. Cadaveric dissection was conducted where hands on traning on cadavers was given fpr varopis surgeries on Rhinology.
Department has also proposed a CME in coming year in field of Otology.
