Basic Course in Medical Education (BCME) on Medical Education Technologies and Attitute, Ethics & Communication (AETCOM)

Medical Education Unit (MEU) of Geetanjali Medical College and Hospital, Udaipur has organized a three day Basic Course in Medical Education (BCME) on medical education technologies and Attitute, Ethics & Communication (AETCOM) from 27th to 29th December 2023, under the aegis of NMC nodal centre Smt. NHL Municipal Medical College, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Dr. Shikha Sut, Professor, Department of Pharmacology from Smt.NHL Municipal Medical College, Ahmedabad was NMC observer for the workshop. 25 faculty members from different discipline underwent training regarding the revised curriculum by NMC which was focused on competency based medical education (CBME).

The workshop was formally inaugurated BY NMC observer Dr. Shikha Sut, MEU coordinator & Additional principal GMCH Dr. Manjinder Kaur, MEU Co-coordinator & Professor and Head, Department of Pharmacology GMCH Dr. Arvind Yadav and other resource faculties for workshop.

All the interesting and interacting training sessions were conducted by MEU resource faculties including Dr. Manjinder Kaur, Dr. Arvind Yadav, Dr. Harpreet singh, Dr. Ashish Sharma, Dr. Jitendra Jingeer, Dr. Medha Mathur, Dr. Savita Chaudhary, Dr. Manu Sharma, Dr. Shabdika Kurukshetra, Dr. Anjana Verma, Dr. Monali Sonawane.

At the end of third day, the participants were addressed by Dean, GMCH, Dr. Sangita Gupta and NMC observer Dr. Shikha Sut. Few of the participants also shared their experiences of this three days workshop. The certificates were distributed to the all the participants and resorce faculties by NMC observer and Dean, GMCH. The program was concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by MEU coordinator and Additional principal, Dr. Manjinder Kaur.
